ITTC Hosts a Farewell Party for International Students from the Faculty of Data Science, CityU

On January 8, 2025, the International Training and Testing Center of City University of Macau  hosted a heartfelt farewell ceremony for international students from Griffith University in Australia, who were completing their studies at CityU's Faculty of Data Science. The event was an opportunity to bid farewell and extend sincere wishes to these students as they embark on new journeys.

The ceremony began with a warm interaction between Rector of CityU, Professor Jun Liu and the international students, along with other CityU students in attendance. With genuine interest, Rector Liu asked about their experiences navigating life and studies in Macau. He sought to understand how they adapted to the new environment, absorbed new knowledge, and participated in campus activities.  He encouraged the students to nurture the friendships they had forged at CityU, urging them to support each other as they embarked on their professional journeys. His emphasis on maintaining these bonds underscored the value CityU places on lifelong connections and mutual growth.

Under the guidance of Mr. Sam Hui, the students engaged in a series of interactive activities. These interactive sessions invited students to reflect on their academic and personal experiences, share their achievements, and outline future plans. The facilitator employed mind maps to help students weave together the tapestry of their time at CityU, transforming each memory—whether from the classroom or campus life—into a meaningful narrative.

For the international students from Australia, the end of their time at CityU was not a conclusion but a new chapter. The experiences they had accumulated during their stay had instilled in them a renewed sense of purpose, propelling them forward with a fresh momentum. As they prepared to embark on their next journey, they carried with them not just memories but a sense of accomplishment and anticipation for the adventures ahead.
