The International Training and Testing Center of City University of Macau provides examination servicesfor Pui Ching Middle School

The International Training and Testing Center (ITTC) of City University of Macau has been dedicated to offering professional and comprehensive international English examination services in the Macau region. On April 29 and 30, 2025, in collaboration with Smart Education Ltd., the official representative for TOEFL iBT and TOEIC in Macau, the Center once again provided TOEFL Junior and TOEFL ITP examination services to approximately 500 secondary school students from Pui Ching Middle School in Macau.

Internationally Recognized English Proficiency Testing Standards

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is a globally recognized international standard for English proficiency assessment. It is widely accepted by over 8,500 schools and institutions across more than 130 countries, especially universities in major study destinations such as the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia, where TOEFL scores are often a key admission requirement. TOEFL Junior and TOEFL ITP are specifically designed to evaluate the academic English abilities of secondary school students, helping them comprehensively develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in preparation for further education and international exchanges.

Comprehensive International English Examination Services

In addition to TOEFL and TOEIC, the ITTC also assists with or coordinates other authoritative international and national English examinations, including IELTS, SAT, ACT, China’s National College English Test Band 4 and 6 (CET4, CET6), and the Business English Translation Test (BETT). These services provide diverse examination options for candidates in Macau and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The Center also offers training courses aimed at enhancing individual English proficiency to systematically improve skills and boost test-taking confidence.

The ITTC will continue to expand its service scope and deepen cooperation with local educational institutions and government departments. It aims to encourage more students to participate in international English certification exams, contributing significantly to the internationalization of education and talent cultivation in Macau.
