CityU ITTC Partners with Student Affairs Office for Pain Relief Workshop to Help Students "Listen to Your Body, Protect Yourself"
On April 10, 2026, Macau City University's International Training and Testing Center (ITTC), in collaboration with the Student Affairs Office, hosted a "Pain Relief Workshop" led by registered physiotherapist and sports rehabilitation expert Mr. Kason LEI . Targeting students' overlooked body signals, the session addressed root causes like poor posture and daily habits through posture adjustments, simple stretching tools, and breathing techniques to foster "listening to your body and protecting yourself."

The workshop began with human anatomy basics, explaining spinal structure and how everyday postures contribute to pain in common areas like the neck/shoulders, lower back, and calves. Kason then demonstrated easy daily exercises and stretches for relaxation, promoting overall physical and mental health, emotional stability, and focus. It also covered breathing techniques, guiding students in self-observation and progressive relaxation to enhance core stability, reduce stress, and maintain balance amid busy academic life.
