ITTC organized a short term-training courses for students of Shijiazhuang Foreign Trade Vocational Institute
From December 2 to 7, 2024, the International Training and Testing Center of City University of Macau (CityU Macau) organized a training program for Shijiazhuang Foreign Trade Vocational Institute. This training program follows the successful management training session for academic and management staff held in the summer. Aiming to expand students' international horizons, enrich their academic knowledge, and strengthen cooperation between both institutions.
On the first day of the program, Prof. Ip Kuai Peng, Vice Rector d of City University of Macau and Dean of the Institute for Research on Portuguese-Speaking Countries, represented CityU Macau in expressing his hope that this program would deepen the friendship between the two institutions and provide students with a platform to showcase their talents and abilities.
He also encouraged them with the phrase "Rock your home town," urging them to use this platform to leverage their strengths, create their own achievements, and leave their mark in cultural inheritance and innovative practice.

Cultural Integration in Macau's Cultural Heritage Landscape_ Associate Prof. Huang GUANG from the Faculty of Innovation and Design (FIAD) at CityU.
Overview of Macau's Multiculturalism and Society__Assistant Prof. Iok Teng KUO, who serves as the Program Coordinator (Master) and Ph.D. Supervisor at the Faculty of International Tourism and Management (FITM), CityU;
Introduction to Portuguese-Speaking Countries (Cultural Customs, Traditions, and Etiquette, etc.)_Asst. Prof. Jiayu Liu from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FHSS) at CityU.
These lectures spanned across various faculties at CityU and were complemented by visits to local museums and cultural sites.
To complement the course content, the center arranged special visits to the Macao Museum of Art, the Museum of the Gifts Offered to Macao upon Its Return to the Motherland, the Maritime Museum, and the A-Ma Temple. These visits provided trainees with a deeper understanding of the knowledge imparted by the instructors of the University of Macau and allowed them to connect theoretical learning with real-life experiences.
Through firsthand exposure to Macau's rich cultural heritage, students gained a deeper appreciation for the city's cultural landscape, a more intuitive understanding of its historical depth, and an enhanced awareness of the importance of cultural heritage conservation.
