ITTC launched a new Phase of the Registered Financial Consultant Certified Program

On February 8, 2025, a new phase of the Registered Financial Consultant (RFC) Certified Program was launched. This is a certificed program is jointly coorganized by Faculty of Finance and International Training and Testing Center (ITTC) of City University of Macau,  Macau Institute of Financial Services (MIFS) and International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC) Hong Kong and Macau Centre Company Limited. 

This certified program consists of a total of 30 hours of instruction, designed to cultivate exceptional financial professionals for the Greater Bay Area and Macau's financial sector. The program aims to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge and skills in financial consulting, aligning with the growing demands of the region's financial industry.

The first lecture featured Associate Prof. Yee Fong KWONG, from the Faculty of Business, who shared insights into financial planning processes, cash flow management, wealth management strategies, and retirement and estate planning. This comprehensive approach ensures that participants gain a deep understanding of financial consulting practices.

Successful graduates who meet IARFC membership requirements are eligible for the RFC professional designation. This collaboration between IARFC, MIFS, and CityU aims to promote financial planning in Macau, enhancing the industry's standards and contributing to its growth.

This initiative not only supports the development of financial professionals but also contributes to the growth and stability of the financial sector in Macau and the Greater Bay Area.
