From Skincare to Makeup: CityU Macau ITTC Helps You Master Professional Business Makeup

In the workplace, personal image is as important as professional competence. On April 2, 2025, the International Training and Testing Center of City University of Macau held a Youthful Professional Business Makeup Workshop, inviting experienced makeup artist Ms. Chen Lishan to guide CityU Macau students on how to create a professional yet elegant business makeup look.

Ms. Chen began with the basics of skincare, clearly explaining the importance of daily skin care and carefully breaking down the correct skincare steps. She helped students understand how to choose suitable cosmetics and appropriate application methods tailored to different skin types.

During the makeup product introduction segment, Ms. Chen showcased a wide variety of makeup tools and products. She provided detailed explanations on techniques such as selecting the right foundation, color matching for eyeshadows, choosing lipstick textures, and applying blush. This gave participants a deeper understanding of makeup products.

Finally, Ms. Chen shared practical tips for purchasing makeup products and emphasized key points for creating an elegant business look, including a lightweight and well-adhered base makeup, as well as precise eyebrow and eye makeup techniques. Under her careful guidance, students gradually mastered these skills, enhancing their overall makeup effect.
