From Yangzhou to Macau: Practice and Inspiration in Innovation and Entrepreneurship

On April 8, 2025, 46 students of School of Maxism, Yangzhou University participated in the "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Study Tour Program" organized by the International Training and Testing Center of City University of Macau. The program aims to broaden students' horizons, stimulate innovative thinking, and further promote educational exchange and cooperation between the two universities.

Professor Kuai Peng IP, Vice Rector of City University of Macau, warmly welcomed the faculty and students from the School of Marxism at Yangzhou University. He introduced the distinctive features and strengths of CityU Macau and explained how Macau, under the "One Country, Two Systems" policy, leverages its unique geographical location and policy advantages to promote innovation and entrepreneurship development. In his speech, representatives from Yangzhou University pointed out that this study tour is not only a platform for learning and exchange but also an opportunity for in-depth interaction with CityU Macau faculty. He encouraged students to use this opportunity to broaden their perspectives, support personal growth and planning, and expressed anticipation for deeper educational cooperation between the two universities in the future.

The "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Study Tour Program" covers areas such as Macau’s multiculturalism, business innovation and digital transformation, and personal career planning. The program combines theoretical lectures, field visits, and group discussions, allowing students to experience the fusion of Macau’s historical heritage and modern development. This not only provides practical opportunities for Yangzhou University students but also further promotes educational exchange and cooperation between mainland universities and CityU Macau, jointly cultivating more talents in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship.
