From August 19 to 20, 2025, the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press (FLTRP) and CityU of Macau jointly held the "Teaching Star" program for mainland Chinese university English teachers. The program attracted 43 outstanding English teachers nationwide to participate in two days of intensive learning and exchange on topics like intercultural communication and blended teaching research, providing a platform for international perspectives and advanced teaching concepts.

On the first day, Professor Jin Lixian, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at City University of Macau, welcomed the participants and highlighted the ongoing collaboration to promote educational exchange between mainland China and Macau. She encouraged teachers to share innovative language teaching ideas and explore effective strategies to cultivate students’ comprehensive learning abilities.

The program featured English-language lectures and discussions centered on intercultural communication and mixed research methods in language education, helping teachers integrate quantitative and qualitative research to optimize teaching design.

Since 2023, FLTRP and Macau City University’s International Training and Testing Center have maintained this partnership, offering regular training for mainland university teachers. The collaboration aims to build a teacher training and exchange platform that blends international vision with cutting-edge educational concepts, driving educational cooperation and talent development between mainland China and Macau.
