AI Artificial Intelligence Trainer (Level 3) Training Programme Officially Launched at City University of Macau

Programme launch and partners

On 8 November 2025, the International Training and Testing Center (ITTC) of City University of Macau held the “AI Artificial Intelligence Trainer (Level 3) Training Programme,” co-organised with Zhuhai Vocational Training Guidance Service Center, Shenzhen Artificial Intelligence Industry Association and Macau Rongguan Investment Technology Co., Ltd.

Training model and objectives

The programme adopts an innovative “academic qualification + national skills certificate” dual-track training model, integrating resources from government, enterprises and universities to build a Greater Bay Area AI talent ecosystem.

As the project organiser, ITTC is committed to creating a “1+4” development pathway for Macao youth, using Macao as the core while radiating to four key Greater Bay Area cities (Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Zhuhai) to support cross-regional employment with the advantage of dual certification.

Target participants and training content

The first cohort consists mainly of fresh graduates from relevant programmes at City University of Macau and local in-service professionals, who will receive systematic online and offline practical AI training.

Training modules cover core skills such as data annotation, model optimisation and prompt engineering, helping trainees meet the rapidly growing demand for AI talents in the Greater Bay Area.

Future development

The International Training and Testing Center will continue to optimise the curriculum system and promote the concept of continuing education and lifelong learning.

By working with more enterprises and institutions in the Greater Bay Area to launch nationally recognised certification schemes, the centre aims to help Macao youth integrate into the region’s talent hub and co-build a new talent landscape with other cities in the Greater Bay Area.
