Yangzhou University Students from Three Faculties Launch Professional and Cultural Integrated Study Camp
at City University of Macau
On 2 December 2025, around 90 students and teachers from the Yangzhou University visited City University of Macau to participate in the “2025 Yangzhou University Study Programme at CityU Macau,” organised by the International Training and Testing Center (ITTC), with the opening ceremony held at Ho Yin Convention Centre HG02 on the Taipa campus. At the ceremony, Professor Ip Kui Peng, Vice-Rector of City University of Macau, warmly welcomed the delegation and emphasised that the programme builds a cross-cultural learning and communication platform, encouraging students to understand Macao’s key role in national development and the “Belt and Road” initiative and to draw creative inspiration from its unique East-meets-West cultural landscape.
The programme is divided into the “Yangzhou University School of Tourism and Culinary Science Training Course,” including lectures by Professor Li Xi, Executive Vice-Dean of the Faculty of International Tourism and Management of City University of Macau, on Macao’s cultural and tourism education development, and field visits to hotels and resorts, and the “Yangzhou University Arts–Science Integration Study Camp,” which features sessions led by Professor Zhou Ping, Programme Director of the postgraduate programmes at the Institute for Research on Portuguese-Speaking Countries of City University of Macau, on Macao’s multicultural and social profile, as well as themes such as multiculturalism, art and virtual reality, wearable technology and fashion art, teamwork and communication, combined with lab visits and city cultural tours to foster deep integration of art and technology and enhance students’ innovative practice capabilities.
