ITTC, CityU Macau Hosts Inclusive Education Workshop for School Teachers –
Advancing Inclusive Education in Macao Schools

        To promote inclusive education in Macao, International Training and Testing Center, CityU Macau (ITTC, CityU Macau) recently hosted a school-based teacher training workshop on "Inclusive Education Pedagogy" for 26 teachers from Macau Primary School. The session equipped frontline educators with strategies to support students with special educational needs through interactive games, case studies, practical simulations, and tailored teaching plans.

        Led by Mr. Lau Yau-kuen, and trainers from the Macao Youth Leaders Association, the workshop used experiential activities like unraveling puzzles and "learning through play" to help teachers identify learning differences, reflect on teaching methods, and design inclusive activities.

        In the afternoon practical session, teachers role-played as instructors and students with learning challenges to design customized curricula using school resources. This hands-on approach emphasized experiential teaching for diverse learners.

        CityU ITTC remains committed to partnering with Macao schools and government bodies to deliver tailored professional development, enhancing teaching quality and student outcomes in inclusive environments.
