City University of Macau’s International Training and Testing Center Invited to Speak at
DSEDJ’s “2026 Overseas and Local Higher Education Information and Public Exam Briefing”
On March 8, 2026, Ms. Wu Yaofen (吳窈芬), Acting Director of the International Training and Testing Center (ITTC) at City University of Macau, was invited by the Macao Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) to participate as a speaker in the “Student Career Planning Blueprint” series event — the “2026 Higher Education Information and Public Exam Briefing”.
During the session, Ms. Wu and her team introduced the four most popular international English proficiency tests to Macao secondary school students, parents, and teachers:IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC & SAT.
She explained the purpose and target audience of each exam, their formats, key preparation points, scoring systems, and specific admission requirements of universities. She also provided practical advice on how students can choose the most suitable test and create a targeted preparation strategy based on their academic and career goals.
The talk helped local students and parents gain a clearer understanding of these international exams and university requirements, enabling them to plan their further studies earlier and strengthen their language skills and global competitiveness for applications to higher education institutions in Macao and overseas.
About ITTCEstablished in 2021, the International Training and Testing Center at City University of Macau serves as an official test venue for major international exams including IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, SAT, ACT, CET-4/6, and BETT. In 2025, the center hosted over 6,100 test-takers, supporting local students’ academic advancement, employment, and international development.
