City University of Macau-Academy for Seniors holds Traditional Chinese Medicine Lecture Series, Benefiting Over 300 Macau Seniors
The Academy for Seniors of City University of Macau actively promotes the concepts of active ageing and lifelong learning. From January to March 2026, the Academy organized a series of lectures focused on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) healthcare for common elderly diseases.
The lectures was led by experienced registered TCM practitioner Dr. Feng and were delivered at multiple elderly service centers across Macau.
Dr. Feng shared practical knowledge on TCM health preservation in an engaging way. The interactive format allowed seniors to gain useful knowledge while building confidence in health management in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Academy for Seniors plans to continue its “Entering the Community, Serving Seniors” initiative by partnering with more social service organizations. Future activities will include diverse health and wellness lectures, practical workshops, and cultural experiences, contributing to the Macao SAR Government’s efforts to build a more age-friendly and inclusive society where seniors can learn, enjoy, and contribute in their later years.
