Lifelong Learning Academy Celebrates Graduation and Growth
The Lifelong Learning Academy of City University of Macau celebrated the graduation of its first one-year programme. A total of 20 senior learners aged between 55 and 75 successfully completed 180 hours of structured learning.
Over the past year, the learners participated in a diverse range of courses, including fitness, information technology, traditional Chinese, Macanese and Portuguese crafts, as well as physical and mental wellness. These learning experiences helped them improve their abilities, build confidence and rediscover the joy of learning.

The teaching team also reflected on the meaningful year, highlighting the learners’ enthusiasm, dedication and progress. Through fitness training, mindfulness, psychology, traditional medicine and cultural crafts, the learners developed healthier lifestyles, enhanced their creativity and gained greater confidence in using digital technology.
The graduation celebration marked not only the completion of a programme, but also the learners’ continued commitment to active ageing, lifelong learning and personal growth in Macau.
