The curriculum progressed from foundational theory to practical application through specialized lectures and mentored group presentations. Academic experts from CityU Macau’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and other faculties delivered sessions covering key dimensions of cross-cultural pedagogy:

Global Educational Trends: Development frameworks for educator global competence and cross-cultural classroom adaptation.

Language & Cultural Diversity: Cross-cultural communication techniques and language diversity in globalized contexts.

Regional Educational Integration: Comparative analyses of teaching models across Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau, alongside collaborative development strategies for basic education in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

During the final module, faculty mentors reviewed group outcome presentations, providing targeted evaluations to help participants translate theoretical frameworks into practical instructional design.

The initiative highlights growing academic collaboration between Hunan and Macau while supporting the Greater Bay Area’s broader educational integration strategy. Moving forward, the ITTC plans to expand cross-city exchange programs focused on global competence, cross-cultural education, and basic education innovation to foster regional talent development.
