Deepening Guizhou-Macau Educational Exchange: CityU Macau Study Program Boosts Regional Educational Collaborative Development



      From July 13 to July 19, 2025, 20 outstanding students from Xingyi Minzu Normal University visited City University of Macau to participate in the "2025 Xingyi Minzu Normal University Study Program at City University of Macau," organized by the International Training and Testing Center of City University of Macau. This study program, leveraging CityU Macau's international educational exchange platform, not only provided a bridge for students from Guizhou Province to broaden their horizons and enhance their personal abilities but also further promoted the collaborative development of education in the Guizhou-Macau region, fostering knowledge sharing and talent cultivation cooperation between universities in both areas.


    Ms. Wu Yaofen, Acting Director of the International Training and Testing Center at CityU Macau, highlighted CityU Macau's ongoing collaboration with Guizhou Province, emphasizing the success of various study programs designed to foster educational exchange and cooperation. She expressed optimism for continued partnership in cultivating globally-minded and innovative talents. Similarly, Ms. Dong Xianya of Xingyi Minzu Normal University thanked CityU Macau for the program, encouraging students to engage deeply with the academic environment to enhance their skills. She underscored the program's role in strengthening the bond between the two universities, paving the way for future multi-faceted collaborations.

The study program, designed with integrated theoretical and practical experiential learning, significantly broadened students' horizons and immersed them in CityU Macau's diverse cultural environment, strengthening educational ties and fostering future talent exchange. The curriculum covered entrepreneurship, innovative thinking, and communication skills, while practical activities like a coffee experience, Macau heritage tours, and cultural workshops provided deep insights into Macau's development and strategic role in the Greater Bay Area.

This study program not only further promoted collaborative education between universities in both regions but also established a multi-level and diversified exchange platform, providing students with broader development space and international perspectives through diversified educational resource integration and sharing, further promoting the coordinated development of education in the Guizhou-Macau region.
